The Special Cuvee Frontonio Garnacha Red Wine from Bodegas Frontonio presents us with this D.O Castilla y León (Spain) wine, crafted from Garnacha Tinta grape varieties. This project, started in a humble garage in Épila (Aragón) by Fernando Mora, Mario López and Francisco Latasa, takes its name in honor of the town’s saint. Legend tells that when he was decapitated by the Romans and his head was thrown downstream, miraculously the same head appeared at the top of the river. Against the current, just like the micro-vinifications of this small winery born from century-old vines. The result is a very limited production with great potential and increasingly sought after.
