Bodegas y Viñedos Ilurce presents their Ilurce Rosado Garnacha made from 100% Garnacha grapes.

Do you all remember that baby who was an earthquake when awake and caused quite a stir with his rattle? That’s our Ilurce Rosado. This «battle» is transmitted through the rigor with which we select its grapes, the maceration, bleeding and fermentation of its grapes. For these reasons, it requires a lot of care. The camouflage pattern not only references this «warrior» character but also refers to our commitment to Garnacha grapes, like our Ángel and El Sueño de Amado wines.

Vineyard. Every year we search among our Garnacha plots for those that reach full ripeness with the lowest alcohol degree. Not all years do the same plots participate in this vineyard, but we are able to blend the best Garnacha clones from different vineyards.

Winemaking. We organize night harvesting to collect the trellised grapes and the coldest days to harvest the old bush vines. Once the destemmed grapes are in the tank, the must remains in contact with the skins for 48 hours at 8-10ºC. If we have achieved the desired color, we bleed the free-run must, taking advantage of the low temperature for static settling. Once the must is clean, we ferment it at controlled temperature between 15-18ºC.
