Viña Solarce

The Rosé Wine Viña Solarce, crafted by Bodegas Casa La Rad, is a wine that captures the essence of the Riojan terroir through careful grape selection and precise winemaking. Protected by the prestigious Denominación de Origen Calificada Rioja (D.O.Ca Rioja), this rosé stands out for its balance, freshness and fruity expression. It is made from a perfectly harmonized blend of 60% Garnacha, 30% Tempranillo and 10% Viura, sourced from vineyards located between 530 and 650 meters altitude, with an average age of 25 years. These vineyards sit on varied soils: alluvial clays, limestone and rocky soils, which provides mineral richness and complexity to the wine. The surface vegetation of the plots favors balanced and sustainable ripening.

The harvest takes place in the third week of September, seeking the optimal point of freshness and acidity.

The winemaking follows the traditional direct bleeding method, where the must remains in contact with the skins for 6 to 12 hours at 10°C to achieve an attractive color and extract delicate aromas. After maceration, 50% of the must ferments in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures between 14 and 16°C, preserving the aromatic intensity and complexity of the grape varieties used. The other 50% is made through direct pressing and flotation settling, fermenting for 9 days at 16°C to highlight its fresh and fruity character. The result is a young rosé wine, without barrel aging, that shines for its floral expression, strawberry and raspberry notes, and a refreshing finish. It is ideal to enjoy as an aperitif or to accompany salads, rice dishes, sushi, seafood and light dishes.
