Catamarán

The white wine Catamarán belongs to the Latorre wineries in Venta de Moro. It is included in the Utiel-Requena designation of origin. It has been awarded the gold medal at the Frankfurt International Trophy in the Wine Beer & Spirits Competition 2018. It is a wine made with Macabeo and Verdejo varieties. It is recommended to consume very cold between 4 and 6°C. It is a wine that pairs perfectly with seafood, rice dishes, fish, mollusks, pasta and appetizers. The Latorre wineries were founded in 1940 in Venta del Moro, at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level, in the west of the Valencia province, just 100 km from the Valencian coast, creating the perfect setting for grape cultivation and ripening, obtaining excellent quality wine. Since then, they have combined continuous improvement of their facilities with the freshness of extracting grapes from their own vineyards. This winery’s treatment of grapes is exquisite through self-emptying tanks with controlled pumping over and fermentation temperature, rotary vacuum filter, heat exchangers, temperature-controlled must fermentation and storage tanks, climate-controlled barrel and bottle aging rooms, stabilization and bottling facility. Their facilities have evolved to adapt to the latest technologies, betting on continuous improvement and modernity. This family winery, managed by the third generation, now reaches the fourth generation combining experience and tradition with modernity and youth to produce excellent wines. Currently, this winery’s facilities have a capacity of 88,000 Hls.
